Our thoughts on Evernight Publishing
* As authors, we're thrilled to share our stories with you, the readers, and Evernight helps make our books shine! Here’s why we love Evernight Publishing:
* RM & I were quite happy to be picked up by Evernight Publishing. We heard about the company through a friend of hers, and after our first book had been turned down by a couple of other places, we submitted there. The rest is history! We now have three stories in the Double D Ranch Tales series available through Evernight and have several more in various stages of development. Yay! Our experience at Evernight has been wonderful—from the support of the publisher to the cover art to the promotion to the support of other authors and so on. We’ve also received some great reviews on our stories. In fact, some of the positive feedback we’ve gotten is in direct contrast to the reasons why the first publisher we sent our story to rejected it. See? Just because one place doesn’t think you’re a fit or a particular person doesn’t like it, doesn’t mean that the story is garbage.

  4. i have a number of learning difficulties and school was hard for me. i went to a high school that offered advanced courses and in my grade 11 year i really wanted to try one JUST to see how i would do. one of my teachers poo pooed the idea of me doing it thinking i would be disappointed if i failed. that made me more determined to take it cuz i was offended he'd say that...turns out i got a sixty percent as my final mark plus an award for most improved student :)

  6. No one's really told me that something's impossible, though someone did once say that my interests were too broad and I'd be better off focusing on just one. Jury's still out on that one...

  7. I am in the process of completing my medical degree. I have had a hard time recently , losing both my mom and dad and having financial struggles. Needless to say, finally seeing a silver lining that I never thought would ever happen, is an amazing feeling.

  10. Unfortunately, I do have a family member that I love very much that doesn't believe I will do what I have said I would do. Been that way my whole life, but I WILL prove them wrong.

  11. Oh yeah! My parents seem to think I can't do anything but i've proved them wrong many times!! I was never someone anyone ever beleived in, but i've grown to not care what others think of me cuz I know what I can do!

Take care & I hope you have a great day! =)

  12. No, probably because I haven't felt the need to set high goals for myself. My parents always told us we could do anything we set our minds to and really worked for it.

  13. Even though no one said it, no one thought I would survive college. Not only did I survive, but I was the first in my family to get a Master's degree!!

  15. Not really, I have always been goal oriented and I've achieved many of my goals. The problem now is coming up with new goals since I'm currently very content with my life. marie.mattingly88@yahoo.com
